About this bouquet
There is no trick to a good red rose. It is the variety and the grower. We use Naomi, a deep velvet red with a big head that opens slowly over a week, from the same grower in Aalsmeer every order.
Each stem is de-thorned, recut and conditioned overnight before it is tied, which is why ours open instead of drooping at the neck on day two.
A dozen is traditional. Twenty-four is a statement. Thirty-six, we are told, gets a phone call within the hour.
